Who we are
Afrevo Global Careers is a recruitment partner focused on maritime and heavy-industry roles. We exist to make international hiring straightforward, safe, and fair. Every employer we work with is vetted, and every candidate we support is treated like a professional—kept informed, respected, and guided from shortlist to onboarding.
Our team blends industry knowledge with patient, human support. You get clear requirements, honest timelines, and practical help at each step—so you can prepare confidently and move when the offer is right.
What we do
We align your experience with active, verified vacancies and introduce you directly to hiring managers. From the moment you apply, we coordinate interviews, offers, and travel details where required. We help you assemble and validate documents, book medicals, and navigate visas or permits—so compliance is handled and you can focus on the job. For seagoing and offshore roles, we make sure you understand certifications such as STCW, ENG1, OGUK, or HUET and what’s needed for mobilization.
Communication is portal-first and email-verified, so you always know messages are authentic. We share status updates promptly, explain next actions in simple language, and keep everything traceable in your account.
How we work
You submit a short application and pay a small processing fee. We screen your documents and experience, then—when there’s a good match—share your profile with hiring teams. Interviews are scheduled through the portal and, if an offer is issued, we help finalize paperwork and travel. Once mobilization is set, we remain available to answer questions and keep you on track through medicals, visas, and joining instructions.
Fees (full transparency)
We do not charge placement or interview fees. To run secure identity checks, fraud controls, and your applicant portal, we charge a KSh 199 application processing fee (or local equivalent). This charge is small and non-refundable, and there are no “priority” or “fast-track” upsells—ever.
Standards
We only proceed on written offers from verified employers. Safety and compliance come first, with role-specific requirements made clear before you commit. Your personal data is used strictly for recruitment and legal compliance; it is never sold. Hiring decisions are based on skills, readiness, and documentation—not on payments.
Where we hire
In the GCC, roles commonly include employer-sponsored visas with offshore rotations such as 28/28 or 35/35. In the EU/Schengen area, opportunities typically follow shortage-list or employer-sponsored routes. For US cruise positions, candidates usually require a C1/D crew visa plus job-specific certificates. We outline these pathways clearly so you can decide confidently.
Our promises
Transparency: all costs are stated up front with no surprise fees. Reliability: we communicate only from verified domains and through your portal. Fair hiring: selections are made on merit and readiness—never on who pays more.
Anti-fraud & privacy
We use verified domains only—emails from @afrevo.com—and we do not ask for bank passwords or take payments through chat apps. Keep conversations inside your portal and report anything suspicious to support. Personal data is processed solely for recruitment and compliance.
Friendly, human support
You can expect clear updates, practical guidance, and respectful interaction at every stage. Our support team aims to reply within 24–72 hours on business days. For faster handling, include your full name and the email used in your application when you reach out.
